Biography

Zainab Rafeeq is an MS Scholar currently working as a Research Associate and Instructor. Throughout the years, I have developed a strong foundation in molecular biology, infectious disease research and bioinformatics with extensive hands-on experience in data analysis and computational methods. Her ability to integrate wet-lab and computational approaches has enabled me to investigate complex biological questions related to pathogen identification, drug resistance and host-pathogen interactions. In addition to conducting research, She have actively contributed towards mentoring medical students. She have instructed volunteers in my lab and my mentorship has provided them with hands-on experience in diagnostics via molecular biology approaches. Beyond academia, Her hobbies are what keep me grounded. She is an avid reader and possess a deep appreciation for aesthetics that evoke warmth and nostalgia, which naturally extends to photography. She love capturing fleeting, intimate moments and pairing them with poems I curate. She is an animal lover and have been involved in rescue and welfare for the strays.
