Biography

Dr. Megha Gupta is a Junior Resident in the Department of Infectious Diseases at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Her interest in infectious diseases stems from their potential to be effectively treated, often leading to substantial improvements in patient outcomes, if diagnosed promptly. Working in a developing country setting with a high burden of infectious diseases has further strengthened her commitment to clinical care, research, and antimicrobial stewardship. She is particularly passionate about advancing medical knowledge through research and sharing clinical experiences with the global scientific community. Her academic interests include rare and emerging infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance and stewardship, and clinical immunology. Her current research focuses on Carbapenem-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections.
