Rosario Teresa Saylo - Biography

Biography

Dr. Saylo is a graduate of the Internal Medicine Residency Training Program at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Medical Center and has passed the Philippine Specialty Board of Internal Medicine. She previously served as Chief Resident, where she coordinated clinical services, supervised junior residents, and contributed to departmental quality improvement initiatives. Throughout training, she gained extensive exposure to acute and critical care through regular ICU and ER rotations, including the management of elderly patients with sepsis and septic shock. She has completed formal training in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Good Clinical Practice in 2025. Her clinical background and leadership experience support her capability to conduct this retrospective study in accordance with institutional, national, and international standards.
